This new bar on Ann Siang Hill aims to transport drinkers back to 1980s Singapore with fun touches like its street food and warning signs, plus old TV serials on repeat. Set up by the owners of Gem Bar next door (and taking over half their space), the bar sticks to its novel theme with a few Asian-inspired cocktails created by local mixologist Alfee Zulkiflee. Try their signature Flower Song ($14), which incorporates lychee and chrysanthemum in vodka, or the Absolut Pear, aloe vera and peach concoction, Fruits of Heaven ($14). For food, there’s dim sum like luncheon meat fried rice ($7), pork pastry ($8) or heavier options like kung pow chicken ($8).
