True to traditional form, Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra pays respect to the forefathers of Afrobeat while adding their distinct Lion City grit to the mix. Influences of Reggae, Afro-Brazilian music, Funk and Disco seep into their works to define a truly 21st century translation of the Afrobeat genre and beyond.
After releasing their debuts EP Singapura Vibrations with collaborations with Ray Lugo(Kokolo Afrobeat) & Victor Rice(Easy Stars Records). Their music is being played in radio stations in countries such as Denmark, Spain, Greece & Australia. Taking their unique South East Asian Afrobeat sound to the rest of the world.
Segude is a collective of drumming enthusiasts from Singapore, Tunisia, Poland, Japan, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Venezuela and France. Bounded by the passion for West African rhythms, Segude focuses on expressing the joy and passion that abounds from drumming.

Originally from San Francisco, California, for the last 14 years, Kamau Abayomi has been based in Bali, Indonesia where, under his Live Mysteries moniker, he has been at the forefront of producing some of the most soulful and eclectic performance arts events and parties Bali has seen.
Kamau’s style of play traverses multiple genres of global soulful music, rooted in African diaspora. Since 2005, he has been one of the primary djs to activate the hiphop, dancehall, soul and afro-based music scene in Bali, Indonesia. Bringing his talent for dancing and choreography to his music selection, Kamau has played as resident in venues such as Kudeta, Deus Ex and initiated many legendary monthly and special events all over the island. For the last 8 years, he has been one of the djs and the mc for Bali’s top monthly African music event, Disko Afrika. In 2014 he was named and featured as one of Bali’s “Hottest dj’s” by Hello Bali magazine. He also is a dj in rotation playing the ecstatic dance events at the internationally acclaimed Yoga Barn in Ubud, Bali. He has also played at premiere dance events in San Francisco, Oakland, Chicago, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Japan. Kamau is also an award-winning poet and firespitting MC, who incorporates his flows into his sets. He has been featured on three chart topping afro-house singles released by top afrohouse label, MoBlack Records:

Rumshot has always been passionately rooted in the music scene. Since his early years when he started out as a percussionist, and brass band player, he has always crossed many genres of music.
Rumshot continues to keep his roots firmly placed in the: Reggae (as founder of Dub Skank’in Hifi soundsystem ,co-founder of Singapura Dub Club & drummer for Reggae Remedy-Singapore reggae band), World Music (founder & drummer for Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra) and Brazilian / Latin(founder and ex-member of Wicked Aura Batucada; scenes, as well as a percussion / drum tutor, musician and sound engineer.
Since starting his djing career he has played in Manchester, London,Thailand, Bali, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Rumshot has performed or opened for artists such as Johnny Osbourne(Jamaica), Tippa Irie(UK), Suns Of Dub(Jamaica), U-Brown(Jamaica), Papa U Gee(Japan), Ras Mohamad(Indonesia), Cojie Mighty Crown(Japan), General Levy(UK), Prince Fatty(UK), Ray Lugo(US), Dusty(Germany) & Conkarah(Jamaica), Dub-Stuy Sound(US), Denny Frust(Indonesia).

Lavin Raj, better known by his moniker as Submerge, is a DJ, Sound Engineer and vinyl junkie from Singapore. He has been DJing for more then a decade with an obsession for bass driven music, which earned him recognition in the city’s underground scene. He’s graced the decks at a smorgasbord of venues. Starting out mainly playing Drum & Bass, Jungle, then to Dub, He has collaborated and shared the stage with some of the most important names in Singapore, & also played alongside big international acts like Goldie, Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, General Levy, Johnny Osbourne, JStar, Prince Fatty, Logistics, A-Sides, SPY and Spectrasoul to name a few. His love for music had him hosting a weekly radio show with fellow DJ, Presha, on Meshradio for a few years. Renowned regional & global guests were featured on the radio show. Through his musical influences Submerge has also been flirting with Reggae rhythms, dancehall topped by warm layers of Dub and the cool hybrid of Grime!
